Area Manager (Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield, Leeds and Bradford)

We are looking for a strategic Area Manager to run a number of Pirate music studio sites within a region, like their own business - a great opportunity for someone wanting to make their mark! You will manage a team of field ops employees remotely but you can expect to visit your sites from time to time.

You will be joining Pirate at a very exciting time as we explore adding hospitality to the business so this role suits someone with a passion and experience for serving and providing amazing experiences to customers.

No day, evening or weekend is the same in the music studios so someone who is flexible and agile in their approach to working, creative thinking in their problem solving and has the ability to keep calm under pressure is a must!

We’re after a self-starter and highly motivated leader, there are no egos at Pirate so we expect the same from you. This role would suit someone that is supportive and wants to develop their people, who’s not afraid of operating and leading in a hybrid working environment across varying locations in the UK.

You’ll be working on

• Full control over the P&L for your region, ensuring your sites have the right staffing coverage, stock alongside managing all costs - It’s on you to make the sites profitable!
• Use data as a key insight to drive down cost and increase revenue.
• Regularly visiting your sites, ensuring minimum standards are being exceeded.
• Being a leader to your team, providing growth opportunities and using a combination of contract types to ensure site coverage and customer experience is maximised across our 24/7 model.

Requirements

We’re looking for

• Experience in managing the day to day multi site operations in Retail, Warehousing, Logistics, or Hospitality; or similar industries - ideally remotely!
• Team leadership and experience in management of small to mid-sized operational teams.
• Experience in identifying the individual challenges and needs of different sites, and the ability to develop a strategy to improve them and achieve gross margin targets.
• Experience in reading and managing a P&L.
• Someone with a strong commercial acumen and business focussed approach.
• Data-driven with experience using Looker/ Tableau or similar data visualisation software.
• Ability to travel to the sites in your region is a must.
