About the job

The Twilio brand team is seeking a talented and experienced motion graphics animator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating visually compelling and engaging motion graphics and animations for a wide range of projects, including but not limited to, product videos, brand campaigns, and event content. The motion graphics animator will work closely with our creative team, video producers, and brand stakeholders to produce high-quality content that communicates the Twilio brand and its value proposition.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Develop innovative and creative motion graphics for a variety of projects that align with the Twilio brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with our creative team, video producers, and brand stakeholders to produce high-quality content.
  • Design and animate elements for product videos, brand campaigns, and event content.
  • Utilize software such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Cinema 4D to create stunning motion graphics.
  • Ensure all work is completed within deadlines and to the highest standard.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design and animation trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • Maintain and organize project files, assets, and resources.
  • Advocate for the use of motion graphics and animations to enhance the Twilio brand across all touch points.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, animation, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in motion graphics design, preferably in a brand or agency environment.
  • Proficient in industry-standard software, including After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Cinema 4D.
  • Strong knowledge of design principles, typography, and color theory.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and time-management skills.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of motion graphics and animation work for brand campaigns, product videos, and event content.
  • English and Spanish proficiency.

Desired:

  • Basic video editing skills using Davinci Resolve or Premiere Pro.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Airtable and Bynder.
  • Experience using and maintaining DAM’s (Digital Asset Management).

Location 

This role will be Remote - Colombia.
