A crucial part of this service lies within our mobile development team, and we are extremely excited to be adding a Multi-Platform development lead to join us in a hybrid work model out of our state of the art Nottingham HQ!
The role will be hands on when it comes to code and development, but we are also seeking a great leader to be responsible for leading a small team and launching brand new technology. This role will entail working on some of our best client side apps including Q-Pulse, Huddle, Coruson, and other premier Audit and Risk products.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be leading and managing an Agile Scrum Team of Software and Senior Software Engineers through performing appraisals and identifying any training needs for the team.
- There will be designing of new features across the Ideagen Mobile products using open-source technologies, whilst evaluating newer technologies like React Native, Flutter, etc.
- Working closely with Development Manager, other Team Leaders, Principal Developers, Senior and Software Engineers to build well architected Cloud hosted solutions.
- Work collaboratively with Product Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Design Engineers, Test Engineers, and Infrastructure Engineers to ensure features are delivered to a high standard.
- Working across the Software Development Lifecycle ensuring that our products are delivered to a published roadmap within planned release cycles.
Skills & Experience
- Development experience in either Android and/or IOS
- Leadership experience as a manager, project lead, or mentor
- Working knowledge of cross-platform mobile technologies such as React Native, Xamarin (MAUI)
- Experience of publishing an app to an accredited app store (commercially) highly preferred
