About the role

The Partner Brands Marketing team is responsible for defining marketing strategies and campaigns for some of our key strategic brands to deliver co-branded marketing activity across the annual calendar.

Working with our strategic partners is key to our success in becoming a first choice household brand, for both the customers we serve and the brands we partner with.

Strategic brands campaigns also enable us to maximise our potential to attract and engage target customers, through the power of the categories we offer and the brands we partner with.

Reporting into the Senior Brand Partnership Manager, you will work with our partners Apple, Samsung and other strategic brands that fall within our Electricals category.

Day-to-day you will be responsible for the planning, development and delivery of all their customer marketing activity with Very.

This role requires effective collaboration with our Electrical Category team and our Brand and Creative teams to deliver the plan along with regular management and liaison with key brands – including Apple and Samsung - and their Marketing team.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver seasonal category marketing plans and initiatives in autonomy, as defined by the long-term category marketing strategy
  • Establishing top tier brand marketing plans, aligned to broader category plans and reflective of share ambitions for the brand at Very; negotiating support and resources from brands.
  • Lead in the execution of engaging and high impact campaigns, managing budgets and timeline, negotiating support and resources from colleagues across channel marketing, trade and 3Fold to craft integrated and creative campaign solutions
  • Create and maintain deep relationships with key brands as the primary marketing point of contact, fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication
  • Work with Marketing and Category colleagues to deliver category priorities including contributing to quarterly review and new brand engagement

About you

  • Experience in combining insights and creative thinking to build compelling and commercially successful propositions and strategic campaigns.
  • Broad base of marketing experience, across acquisition, engagement and brand, through owned, paid and earned media channels, with experience of delivering multi-channel campaigns.
  • Experience in building collaborative relationships, with proven ability to establish credibility with internal and external audiences.
  • Experience working with external and internal creative and media agency.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, encouraging collaborative working and galvanizing colleagues to deliver ambitious brand partnership marketing plans.
  • Creative problem solver and self-starter who becomes comfortable with a degree of ambiguity and embraces the opportunity to pioneer new ways of working both internally and with brands.
