Marketing Lead - B2C - Ireland

Full-Time

As the B2C Marketing Lead, you’ll be working on growing the revenue and customer base of our Irish B2C business, as part of HealthHero Ireland, currently operating under the MyClinic brand.

This role is key in identifying creative new solutions to help us grow and drive revenue, and requires an in-depth knowledge of marketing best practices across social media, content marketing, email marketing, SEM, performance marketing, customer journey mapping and CRO.

A key part of your role is to manage the marketing funnel for MyClinic, responsible for increasing the website conversion rate and driving revenue. You will focus on improving and scaling our social media presence on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter – ensuring that we have an effective social media strategy in place to drive awareness and conversions. In addition, you will take a proactive role in shaping and defining the email strategy to encourage repeat purchase, and optimising the paid acquisition and performance strategy for the brand.

Comfortable across the marketing mix, you’ll be responsible for mapping conversion paths across all channels (owned, paid and earned), working with marketing colleagues in the UK and the additional support of third parties as needed.


With a high degree of autonomy and responsibility, you will:

  • Develop, implement and optimise an email marketing strategy, to engage and convert our audience, encouraging repeat purchase behavior.
  • Develop and manage the B2C social media strategy for Ireland, driving awareness and conversions.
  • Propose, prioritise and conduct marketing experiments to drive growth fast, including building content to attract and convert users.
  • Develop the content strategy that sits across SEO, email and social
  • Measure and optimise these projects, reporting results and proposing improved ways of operating based on data.
  • Manage key conversion points in the marketing funnel – A/B testing and continually measuring the performance of these conversion assets.
  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues in the UK, freelancers and third-party agencies as required across all channels, to optimise conversions and drive revenue.
  • Collaborate with our pharmacy partners to develop initiatives to grow revenue from this channel – tracking all partner marketing activity and measuring success.


To succeed in this role, it’s essential that you:

  • Possess demonstrable experience (5+ years) in helping businesses to grow and scale their revenue and customer base.
  • Have hands-on experience of identifying and successfully exploring new low-cost growth channels.
  • Are a consummate problem solver and highly analytical, able to derive meaning from data through testing and optimisation.
  • Commercial acumen – money savvy, and results focused – with previous experience in driving and growing revenue for the business.
  • Able to create reports and dashboards, to communicate results that enable data-driven decisions.
  • Possess knowledge of search ranking and optimisation factors, and how to build a content strategy that supports growth in this area.
  • Have an understanding of UI/UX best practices to improve and optimise customer journeys.
  • Have demonstrable experience in web analytics, A/B testing and inbound marketing tactics.
  • Experience of managing and improving website performance.
  • Excellent writer and communicator – both written and verbal.
  • Budget management experience

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience using HubSpot.
  • Previous experience in the health and wellbeing sector
  • Understanding and experience of local Irish ecommerce market
