Then, I would create content for each platform that is tailored to its audience.”
Marketing automation is a common skill for marketing leads to have. Employers ask this question to see if you have experience using these tools and how well you can use them. In your answer, share two or three examples of when you used marketing automation tools in your previous roles. Explain what the tool was and what it did for you and your team.
Answer: “In my last role as a marketing lead, I used marketing automation tools to send out emails to our customer base. We had several different types of emails we could send out, such as welcome emails, sales emails and newsletters. I found that using these tools helped me save time while still providing valuable information to our customers. For example, I could set up a welcome email campaign that would automatically send out to new customers when they signed up.
