Marketing Intern ( Summer 2023)

Terran Orbital is seeking an exceptional Marketing Intern (Summer 2023) to join our growing team. Reporting to the Manager of Digital Marketing, the Marketing Intern (Summer 2023) will support our marketing team efforts and gain valuable experience in the field. This position is an incredible opportunity for motivated students to shape the outcome of our commercial and defense space capabilities and develop Marketing skills.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns
• Conduct market research and analyze market trends
• Support the team in daily administrative tasks
• Support the development of marketing materials, such as brochures, presentations, and advertisements
• Social Media content/project Management assistance

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or post-graduate degree program in a Marketing discipline and have at least one semester of classes remaining after the internship
• Ability to work full-time, on-site for 10 to 12 consecutive weeks beginning in May or June 2023
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, and team project experience is applicable)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management, and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of marketing and advertising principles
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Additional Differentiators

• Experience with Hoot suite
• Previous experience in Aerospace Industry
• Graphic & Photo manipulations
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and essential marketing tools, such as Google Analytics and email marketing platforms

Physical Demands

An employee must meet the physical demands described to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. In performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely required to sit or stand for long durations of time, in addition to bending, reaching, and walking. This would require the ability to lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. This position is generally sedentary, with substantial computer usage.

Work Environment

The job operates in a professional office environment but in a manufacturing company. This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanners.
