We are working with a highly reputable, family run SME based in Watford. Our client are specialist providers of parts and spares equipment for the Construction industry and Plant hire markets. We are looking to recruit a dynamic and creative Marketing Executive to join their friendly team.
This is a truly exciting opportunity as previously the business has not had a dedicated in-house marketing professional and has relied on agencies for marketing activities. However due to the continuing growth of the company this would be an ideal time to market and cultivate their customer’s interest in the business in ways that strengthen their reputation and facilitate their ongoing growth.
This is an all-round marketing executive position encompassing creative, analytical, digital, commercial, and administrative responsibilities.
As the Marketing Executive, you will work closely with the Sales Team and be responsible for the marketing function of the business, developing and executing a strategic plan, being an integral part of the growth of the business.
Key duties and responsibilities......
- Drive sales through marketing!
- Execution and development of the marketing plan
- Analyse marketing data and adjust plan based on trends and results.
- Managing and updating website content including new products and descriptions
- Producing content, coordinating photography and Graphic design
- Managing and promoting company product brand
- Increase awareness and exposure of product range amongst target audience.
- Manage social media including creation of posts and blogs.
- Oversee and execute monthly and weekly campaigns through e-shots and direct mail.
- Monitor the department budget to ensure every marketing activity is on budget and cost-effective.
- Creating and implementing campaign plans
- Research target markets & competitor's marketing
Requirements
- Experience in B2B marketing essential
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach
- Experience in designing engaging email campaigns.
- Experience in growing brand awareness through LinkedIn
- Experience in a similar marketing role
- Experienced in the creative use of social media and a solid understanding of social management tools for scheduling etc.
- Able to demonstrate creativity in post content and ability to interact and engage on different platforms to proactively grow relevant follows.
- Proficient at creating, editing, and using images and videos.
- Proactive, able to use own initiative and work without close supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A high standard of organisational and time management skills
- Good team player, able to get on with people at all levels and work collaboratively.
Hours: –Monday – Friday – 7am – 5pm (degree of flexibility).
