Marketing Data Analyst
The Role
We’re looking for a Marketing Data Analyst to join our Revenue Operations team. This person will develop and maintain marketing analytics reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making for the marketing and sales teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Measure ROI of online and offline advertising campaigns
- Develop and maintain Marketing Intelligence content in the form of reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making across sales, marketing, and customer success
- Extract and transform commercial data by using SQL to make data accessible for the company
- Track email campaign metrics (delivery, open, click-through rates)
- Monitor budget distribution and performance of paid ad campaigns
- Accelerate revenue by owning and executing market segmentation analysis to ensure the team is focused on the most valuable target accounts
- Understand process bottlenecks and inconsistencies to implement data enrichment processes to improve the commercial team’s performance
- Deliver top-quality, audience-appropriate communication for data + segmentation, campaigns, etc.
Required skills:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with visual analysis applications and Business Intelligence software and the ability to provide insights from the data
- SQL skills including query development, views, stored procedures
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in a field with an emphasis in Business or a quantitative field
- Hands-on knowledge of data structure of commercial tools (experience with Google Analytics and Hubspot is a plus)
- SaaS/Tech/Startup experience (smaller companies prefered) - this person needs to have experience in a fast-paced environment and must be comfortable multi-tasking
- Effective oral, written and interpersonal skills. Presentation skills necessary to communicate and persuade a wide range of audiences
