Our Mission

The Role
We're looking for a talented Marketing Data Analyst to join our growing Data Team!
Data plays a primary role at Plum, powering key features of the product as well as driving the right decisions for the future of the business. As a Marketing Data Analyst at Plum, you’ll be completely empowered to do the right thing. You will be involved in different aspects of the business and you can expect to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
What You Will Do
- Lead the creation of accessible, relevant and actionable reports and dashboards, using multiple sources of data
- Support the full Marketing Team, with an increased focus on performance and lifecycle marketing, to analyse data and deliver insights and analysis for growth
- Guide decision making by providing detailed, action orientated insights, continuously highlighting potential opportunities and risks
- Analyse various data sources to help determine genuine attribution, LTV and ROI of various marketing activities
- Be experienced in communicating insight, both verbally and via documentation, in the most suitable, comprehensible and impactful way for your stakeholders
- Own measurement & attribution: you will collaborate with marketing team on how to track and quantify the growth different channels drive and how it is measured and controlled for incremental effects
- Monitor and analyse digital media and marketing trends
- Analyse marketing funnels, key channel metrics and customer intent
- Translate data into actionable insights - working seamlessly across our marketing team, you will help ensure that insights are translated into actions, presented in an easy-to-understand format
- Regularly report on marketing KPIs across the team and identify opportunities from your weekly findings
What We Look For
- 2-5 years of experience as Data Analyst or Data Scientist
- A BSc or MSc in a quantitative discipline
- Proficiency in SQL
- A solid understanding of statistics
- Experience in Marketing Analytics
- Experience in designing and evaluating AB tests
- Ability to translate business needs into data projects
- Great communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with some of the following: Looker, BigQuery, Airflow, dbt
