Fictiv is looking for a rock-star Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own the strategy and execution of end-to-end lifecycle marketing initiatives, ranging from 2nd order to 3rd and beyond, including retention and expansion strategies.
Impact In This Role
The focus of the Lifecycle Marketing Manager is to instill loyalty and advocacy within our ever-growing customer base. Our ideal candidate will have an experimental mindset and be data-driven to the nth degree. They will have no problem rolling up their sleeves and working directly with sales, other marketers, customers, and product teams to understand the evolving wants and needs of the market, market conditions, and the customer journey to ensure that relevant programs, tactics, and experiments are being created for all stages of that customer journey to drive success.
You will report to the Chief Revenue Officer.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and/or refine Fictiv’s customer lifecycle stages and ensure strategic initiatives for each stage of the customer journey, which include onboarding, engagement, and retention.
- Create and refine effective programs that leverage tenure and customer behavior data, and include a mix of triggered, targeted, and broad educational campaigns.

Identify critical, measurable metrics (upsell, churn, lifetime value, conversion through the funnel, last purchase timeframes, general velocity/frequencies of purchase, etc.) for lifecycle programs encompassing a growth hacker mentality with the ability to test and scale rapidly.
- Work with the marketing communications team to leverage part and case studies, testimonials, and quotes, to leverage in LCM campaigns.
- Maintain positive and productive relationships with product marketing, product management, and engineering teams to ensure messaging of programs and product updates are accurate and meaningful to the developer persona.
- Partner with customer success and account executives to leverage customer interaction touch points and infuse personal, one-to-one programs.
- Conceptualize customer loyalty and referral marketing programs and experiments to drive 2nd purchases and beyond.
- Develop and maintain multi-channel nurture programs to re-engage, re-active, and lead first-time customers to become power users.
- Leverage Marketo and modern marketing tools (Drift, Printfection, Salesforce, Outreach, etc.) to develop automated campaigns that deliver the right message, to the right person, at the right time.
- Collaboration with MarTech and RevOps teams as well as Field Marketing and our SDR team members.
Desired Traits
- 2-4 years experience in customer marketing, preferably at a digital manufacturing or eCommerce-based company that also supports an enterprise selling motion.

Experience using Salesforce.com, Marketo, Outreach, Third-party scoring tools and Printfection (or similar).
- Appcues experience a plus.
- A proven track record of delighting customers and creating successful marketing programs aimed at customers.
- Advanced knowledge of audience segmentation through profile attribution and content/channel engagement.
- Basic understanding of integrated marketing tech stacks and the flow of data between CRM, Business Intelligence Platforms and Automation Tools.
- Expert in segmentation, list management, and email marketing best practices.
- Experience implementing and measuring AB testing.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations including CAN-SPAM, CCPA, and GDPR.
- Strong communication skills without fear of over-communication. This role will require effective collaboration and cross-functional coordination across internal and external contributors.
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.
- An understanding of the mechanical engineer persona and the buyer journey preferred.
