The Lead Analyst - Telecom Expense Management role will manage Telecoms lifecycle management, manage telecoms environment, and includes spend, usage, technology, processes, and policy. In addition, supports the end-to-end billing process, including all related end user billing inquiries and performs workflow through a ticketing system. The position requires strong problem-solving, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as having demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with providers and problem resolution. This is a high-volume transaction environment that requires great attention to detail and superior analytical skills. In addition, vendor management with TEM providers and telecom vendors globally.
This is a full time position which will report to the Senior VP of Connectivity Services.

Responsibilities
- Manage heavy volumes and often complex telecom invoices and carrier bills.
- Establish and maintain telecom inventory integrity.
- Provide savings opportunities and best practices in Telecom Management.
- Provide timely, detailed and accurate reporting to external and internal audiences.
- Supervise Telecom Expense Management provider to ensure that invoice processing lifecycle is being done in a timely and orderly fashion.
- Review all records associated with bills to ensure accuracy by identifying billing discrepancies, inconsistent trends, issues with payments when they occur and ensuring corrective action where necessary to avoid re-occurrences.
- Analyzes all billing procedures and recommends changes in processes to improve overall efficiencies.
- Analyzes and reviews delinquent accounts and works with TEM provider and telecom vendors to perform corrective action.
- Identifies, files, and resolves disputes with carriers via the TEM provider.
- Provide ad hoc reporting and trend analysis as needed.
- Assists with contract management and negotiations.
- Support facilitation of audit and optimization results and savings strategies.
- Provide telecommunications support, strategy, and implementation for the organization.
- Assists in cost analysis, forecasting, and tracking for telecom projects and initiatives.
- Need to provision and deprovision telecom services on a case-by-case basis
Requirements
- You have basic knowledge of telecommunications services and networks (voice, data, mobile, unified communications)
- You have strong knowledge of TEM lifecycle management
- You have the ability to escalate effectively and manage vendors.
- You have the ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, email) with vendors, peers, direct and senior management.
- You have the ability to leverage automation for efficiency
- You have previous experience in telecom billing, including knowledge of invoice formats, vendor contracts, TEM providers.
- You have experience dealing with telecom carriers and vendor portals.
- You have some experience in Accounting or Finance.
- You have prior experience working in a high volume and fast-paced environment.
- You take attention to detail and very strong organizational and analytical skills as well as the ability to multi-task.
- You have the ability to work either independently or as part of a team.
- You have the ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
- You have experience with Microsoft Office products
- You have the ability to review and analyze data.
