Position:

We are looking for a qualified candidate to join our Phnom Penh office as an IT Support Officer. The Support Officer is primarily responsible to provide day to day support to end users. He/ She will provide primary support specific to the firm’s infrastructure requirements and technical support to IT officers and staff across the firm.

Reports to:

Regional IT Manager;

Key internal relationships:

Regional IT Manager; Systems administrator and other IT officers;

Salary range:

Competitive, varying based on the qualifications and experience;

Requirements

Main duties of the role:

Reporting to and taking instructions from the Regional IT Manager, you are expected to undertake the following activities and tasks:

Zendesk: Customer Service Software

  • Provide support to und users with this customer service software
  • Create, track, and manage support tickets with the IT support team

Applications to provide end user support:

Anti-Virus Endpoint Security Console Management

  • Set and manage MS Endpoint

Office 365 and other applications

  • Office 365 suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Windows Active Directory Domain structures

  • Support users and devices in a Windows Active Directory Federation with Azure AD

Competencies, Knowledge & Experience Required:

Essential skills & experience:

Technical skills

  • Technically sound in Windows10Pro, Office 2013/2016/365, Server 2016 / 2018, Office 365;
  • Strong technical aptitude, especially relating to PC, WiFi, and Local Area Networks
  • Proficient with enterprise troubleshooting/monitoring tools and network operation concepts and tools such as MS Endpoint Protection / Defender and MS Office 365
  • Good documentation and communication skills

Personal qualities

  • Ability to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment;
  • Possess good verbal and written English communications skills;
  • Execute with excellence;
  • Proactive and self-motivated;
  • Make a continuous effort to broaden personal knowledge and skills to become more effective in this role;
  • Manage flexible work hours to extend during weekends and off hours.
Prior experience
  • At least five years of relevant experience in a full-time IT role, IT consulting or in house support work.
Desirable skills & experience:
  • Knowledge of Windows Active Directory
  • Knowledge of Windows Exchange mail system
  • Technical diploma or equivalent employment experience.
