IT Operations Specialist

YOUR ROLE:

We are looking for an IT Operations Administrator to join our team! Reporting to our Head of Operations, you will be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our IT infrastructure. You will also take charge of the implementation and maintenance of our company’s computing needs. If you enjoy solving problems, we would love to hear from you!

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage information technology and computer systems
• Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
• Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
• Audit systems and assess their outcomes
• Preserve assets, information security and control structures
• Handle IT budget and ensure cost-effectiveness

WHO YOU ARE:

• Proven working experience supporting an organisation's technology needs
• Experience with operating systems and platform patching and maintenance (Mac / Windows / Unix / Linux)
• Experience with automation and monitoring system
• Implementation/support on Office applications and support of end-users
• Linux / Unix – Command Line Interface (CLI) and system administration proficiency
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation (Routing, Firewalls, VPN, ...)
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365
• It would be a bonus if you have experience in the following:
  • Cloud computing and virtualization concepts. (Azure, AWS, etc.)
  • Configuration Management (e.g. svn, git, RA, Nexus, Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, …)
  • Expertise in data center management and data governance
• Well organized and able to work under limited supervision
