IT Intern

We are looking for an IT intern to provide help desk support and resolve problems. If you are willing for this role, please apply via the link below. As our expected IT intern, your main responsibilities are:

  • Provide help desk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction.
  • Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT help desk
  • Monitor service desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority
  • Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation
  • Utilize and maintain the help desk tracking software
  • Assist with onboarding of new users
  • Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images, and software
  • Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as needed.
  • Perform all the administrative and financial affairs of IT procedures
  • Accompanying users until the problem is entirely resolved
  • Updating the tickets and closing the completed items.

Requirements

  • At least an associate degree in a technical discipline, such as computer science, information technology, or computer engineering. ( A BS degree is a priority)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of moderate computer hardware.
  • Experience with different desktop operating systems
  • Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and power tools, and to handle other computer components.
  • Respond adequately to inquiries or complaints.
  • Good Communication, consultation, critical Evaluation, and relationship management.
