CustomerHD is looking for an IT Help Desk Technician to join our internal CustomerHD IT team and assist with supporting in-office and remote employees’ technology. The schedule will be Monday-Friday from 8-5 with a 1-hour lunch break. Some after-hours/on-call rotation will be required.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Respond to IT Help Desk requests from employees
- Diagnose hardware and software problems
- Diagnose remote employee technology issues
- Deploy new equipment and provision workspaces for employees
- Assist with user account management
- Assist with new employee onboarding
- Maintain inventory for computer hardware and accessories
- Maintain asset management system and equipment checkout for remote employees
- Participate in rotating on-call support for after-hours and weekends
- Working knowledge of relevant operating systems (primarily Windows 10) and application software (Slack, Google Chrome, Office 365)
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Good organization, time management and prioritization
- Efficient troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing and active listening
- Great customer service and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in IT support role desired but not required
- Work in-office most of the time. This is not a remote position.
- Some heavy lifting may be required
- Some travel for work may be required
Requirements
- High School Diploma or more
- 3+ years experience in the said field;
- Knowledge of operating various BPO industry software and tools;
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment to regularly meet the company's needs;
