Summary of Services
The IT services coordinates and helps with all activities in the IT Department. The position will report to and assist the Finance Manager and Director of SFCG Kyrgyzstan. This position requires exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. S/he must be willing to understand user needs and translate requirements into technology solutions and must be able to understand and support 24x7 infrastructure and business-critical applications. The successful candidate must have the ability to work in a highly visible, fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision and major responsibility, and requires thorough knowledge of IT environments and technologies.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Provides routine server support and general network and backup administration for Bishkek ;
- Evaluates and recommends the purchase of IT equipment for both SFCG Kyrgyzstan offices;
- Responds to all users within one business day via phone, email, or chat, resolving issues in a timely manner;
- Details documentation of every request and project, logging incidents and resolutions into the appropriate software database;
- Produces weekly and monthly reports for supervisor;
- Recognizes problems by identifying abnormalities, reporting violations;
- Actively communicates to appropriate staff about updates or changes in the infrastructure;
- Be engaged in the continuing development of the organization, its mission, and its staff, through the sharing of experience and knowledge;
- Maintain close liaison with the head office in Washington and respond promptly to all requests.
