Smit Lamnalco has an opening for an internship in Finance:

                          Internship:  Accounts Payable Singapore

The intern at the Accounts Payable department assist in multiple duties related to invoices, payments and/or bank/cash activities and provides other related accounting support.
The main focus of the vacant internship will be invoices, however the candidate may rotate among the various other duties (bank/cash). This role reports directly to the Team Leader SSC in the HQ.

Responsibilities:                             

• Assist in processing of bank/petty cash statements on a daily basis.
• Assist in the monitoring  of the accounts to ensure the payments are up to date and actively manage unallocated payments against invoices.
• Assist in the reconciliation of account payable transactions.
• Contribute towards the monthly reports and assist with the monthly closing.
• Prepare batches of the Vendor invoices for scanning.
• Assist in processing, Cost and Oder invoices and ensure a proper filling of all hard-copy and digital data.
• Support the business in all invoices related queries, and monitor the approval workflow of the vendor invoice.
• Assist the monitoring the incoming statements of the vendors against the outstanding invoices.

This internship is open for somebody with studies in Business Administration / Financial Accounting.
