About the team and what we’ll build together

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications, the Internal Communications Specialist is critical to supporting the strategy and execution of all internal and culture related tactics to keep teammates informed and engaged. With our teammates as the ultimate stakeholder, the role will work closely with Kobie senior leadership, Human Resources, Corporate Marketing to ensure that our culture and values are at the heart of everything we do to ensure that Kobie is one of the top places to work. 

 

How you will make an impact

  • Establish an internal communications strategy and capitalize on the existing vehicles to help reach our hybrid workforce using a range of communications tactics
  • Plan and execute weekly, monthly, and as needed communications to support ongoing and ad-hoc projects
  • Work with subject matter experts to develop key messages for internal communications and write these communications
  • Work with HR and Corporate Marketing to amplify our culture across multiple channels to increase awareness (social, video, external events)
  • Act as a thought partner for any HR, DE&I, and culture- building activities that impact our teammates
  • Manage and coordinate:
    • Internal messaging on all channels
    • External messaging on HR sites
    • Creative needed for internal communication needs
    • Events and activities for associates

 

What you need to be successful

  • Passion for learning and thrives in an entrepreneurial setting
  • Self-starter who sees opportunities and goes for it while being realistic about managing executive team expectations and requests
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills across a range of channels (i.e., email, live meetings, video, online social, etc.)
  • Solid organizational skills and capacity to work on multiple projects and competing deadlines in a highly dynamic work environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders as well as colleagues across the company
  • A team player with good interpersonal skills and a desire to extend the reach and influence of internal communications
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with online social tools
  • Marketing or Business degree with a focus in communications preferred and/or an internship or demonstrated communications experience
  • Ability to edit video
  • Experience with Office 365 tools is a plus
  • Based in Tampa Bay Area, Florida, required
