Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safeguard all information system assets as part of the information security team.
- Implement effective and appropriate GRC controls to protect systems and data.
- Lead on compliance reviews, certifications and accreditations (e.g. ISO27001, GDPR etc.).
- Improve security practices through process improvement, policies and automation.
- Reporting of information security risks and results of assurance reviews
- Document, track and report control failures, gaps and remediation activities.
- Monitoring the information security controls, KRIs/KPIs and technical landscape.
- Validate IT ecosystem for security best practices and recommend changes to enhance security and reduce risks across critical business areas.
- Work with the internal and 3rd party teams to promote and adopt security best practices.
- Identify, communicate and manage current and emerging security threats with relevant stakeholders.
- Challenge the first line of cybersecurity defense functions.
