What We Need:

We are looking for an HR Specialist that has experience working with cutting-edge technical teams in the UK and Europe. This position's primary goal is to enhance employee engagement, retention, and productivity for our technical teams, while also providing HR operational support to technical and non-technical teams in the UK.


What You'll Do:

You'll develop relationships with management and employees to understand their challenges, build bespoke HR solutions, and resolve complex employee challenges to build team morale. You'll also need to be comfortable having challenging conversations, such as when you are conducting investigations, providing interpretations of HR policy, and ensuring compliance.


You'll also be responsible for HR's operational tasks, such as processing monthly payroll, monitoring sickness and PTO, driving the appraisal process, and managing employee contracts (new hires, transfers, and promotions).

Requirements

What You'll Bring:

  • 2+ years of HR experience in the software and/or engineering industries.
  • Strong UK Employee Relations experience. A plus: Knowledge and experience with EU countries.
  • Dynamic, confident personality who thrives under minimal guidance in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Organizational savvy as the only on-the-ground HR Specialist in the UK while being a true collaborator on both regional and global teams.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
  • Experience in multi-site and remote work environments, ideally with companies that have completed a merger or acquisition.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superb interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
