The Job

We are looking for a HR Specialist to provide operational HR support to our employees in our Nordic headquarters. As the HR Specialist, you will work within the Nordics People and Culture Department, as part of the Employee Experience team. You will work closely with the local HRBPs and be actively participating in the transition to the new HRIS System, Workday

You will…

  • Conduct onboarding and benefit orientation to build a strong foundation for new employees and increase employee engagement
  • Ensure employee records are maintained and updated with new hire information or changes in employment status.
  • Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
  • Manage pension and health insurance programs
  • Identify training needs for teams and individuals and liaise with the local HRBPs in addressing them
  • Input, support, maintain and be responsible for data integrity of the HRIS system for Nordics employees (HiBob and Workday)
  • Review and document system processes and user guidelines. Partner with the local HRBPs to provide training to employees on functionalities.
  • Manage the exit process for departing employees
  • Prepare, maintain, and distribute People reports on a monthly or as needed basis
  • Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation

You have...

  • 2+ years of HR Generalist experience within a fast paced environment
  • Solid understanding of Danish labor law and payroll process
  • Experience of dealing working with an HRIS (Workday not mandatory, but preferable)
  • Demonstrable experience of dealing with an employee relations caseload i.e. absence management, performance management, disciplinary & grievance matters
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with the proven ability to take initiative to complete assignments and responsibilities
  • Fluency in both English and Danish is preferable (Danish is needed mostly for partner management)
  • Strong interpersonal skills – ability to build relationships at ease
