Launched in 2019, Taptap is tapping into a transformative shift in global finance: from banks to phones. We are looking for an extraordinarily driven individual to join our HR department. The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource department in Casablanca Morocco, including hiring and interviewing CS staff in various countries, administering benefits, disciplinary  and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. You are self-motivated, highly autonomous and a go-getter who will go above and beyond to get things done. You possess innate startup grit and the ability to juggle many balls and wear many hats. You thrive in a continually evolving and fast-paced environment. We’d love to hear from you !

You will

  • Have a hybrid role of managing HR/people operations, and hands on recruitment. A crucial role to the growth of our business.
  • Source strong candidates via sourcing, job posts, referrals and agencies. We are hiring for customer service positions all over the world.
  • Facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborate with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Find opportunities to improve candidate experience and scheduling efficiency
  • Conducts or acquires background checks, reference checks and employee eligibility verification.
  • Handles HR-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors.
  • Serve as a point of contact to benefit vendors, administrators and employees.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations, as well as preparation of all supporting documents required by the labor law.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Ensure the compliance of HR files and create files for new hires.
  • Edition of various reports regarding absences, attendance and headcount.
  • Management of time and attendance tool.

You have

  • French & English language skills.
  • Proven experience in HR & Recruitment of at least 2 years Experience as liaison officer with the "inspection du travail" and lead disciplinary meetings.
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws including disciplinary procedures/processes in Morocco.
  • Experience recruiting at volume, preferably for Customer Service or Operations roles.
  • Amazing ability to stay organised with solid attention to detail and great follow through. 
  • Experience working with and recruiting in different countries.
  • Polished communication skills (both clear and friendly!) and incredibly persuasive Demonstrated ability in multitasking, prioritising and meeting tight deadlines.
