Head of Production Assembly

Full-Time

Ensures on time, qualitative and quantitative production and delivery of products to the customer at the right cost, including responsibility for New Product Launch activities as well as serial production. 

Leading and Steering People:

Coordinates human resources of the areas in charge:

• Monthly and annual headcount forecast

• Leading the FF organization and enhance its development, as well as to ensure results (efficiency, quality); applying human relations processes that drive people performance and planning

• Design strategy to improve productivity in the area of responsibility within the established safety, quality, productivity and cost metrics

• Supports, teaches and coaches the team to further develop the organization

• Ensure that the ESH rules are followed and measures are correctly executed

Operations:

 

Ensures the production and testing of customer specific products on time, with the right quality and cost

• planning and controlling of costs vs budget;

• planning and controlling of resources (equipment, people, material)

• leading change management (organization, processes);

• Responsible for productivity/process efficiency and continuous improvement within Segment & value stream (Lean)

• Ensure that Line Information Boards (LIB) tracked and deviation management is happening.

NPL: Supervise, support and control in case of new product launches (equipment, process, sample builds, supply chain) to ensure a safe launch and ramp up.

Quality:

Ensures the quality of processes and products in order to fulfill internal and customer targets.

• Quality Cost Reduction, without jeopardizing final customer requirements

• Supports Internal and external Audits

• Implementation & monitoring of corrective actions in case of non-conformity

Standard / Leader Standard Work:

Supports and drives the implementation of the company and the plant standards (e.g. ESD guideline, technical cleanliness, 5S, JIDOKA, )

Execute Assembly Production Manager routines (incl LPA, Gemba walk, FF Team meetings)

• Execute LSW Routines and discusses with the Plant Manager upon problems and/or deviations in routine fulfilment

• Identify systematic failures and initiate Problem Solving measures

• Ensure the proper execution of Problem Solving

Ensures efficient communication with related stakeholders:

• To ensure communication flow with related functions in the plant;

• To enable and be promoter of the quality culture (Quality Mindset)

• Participates and contributes in the different meetings organized to support the Production and Quality System. Some examples are: Production Meeting, Gembas,

KPIs:

Define the targets for internal production KPI (PPM, Scrap Rate, OEE ,Rejection Rate, FPY, etc) and ensure the proper breakdown to each area

• Coordination, support and coaching of the levels below in order to achieve the targets for internal production KPI(PPM, Scrap Rate, OEE ,Rejection Rate, FPY, etc)

• Participates and generates cross functional meetings in case deviations on KPIs.

• Trigger the support function or apply the escalation plan when ever needed to reach the targets

• Ensure that follow-up measures are defined and executed

Drives continuous improvements on a daily basis

• Drive lean activity and CBS project implementation in the area

Maintenance & P&L:

Ensures maintenance system is working according to standard:

• Ensure maintenance KPIs optimized

continuous improvement of product / process / variable & fix cost

• Responsible of Budget: definition, approval and execution

Manufacturing related technologies, systems, infrastructures, standards and  processes

Lean Production principles, methods and tools Products, systems and technologies (Functionalities and Applications)

Supply Chain Management (including Logistics policies, systems and processes)

Quality Management (including Quality policies, systems and processes)

Industrial Engineering Management (including IE systems and processes)

Management skills, tools and techniques Human relations skills (team skills, conflict management, open-mindedness, networking, legal regulations)

Interpersonal skills (communication, conflict management, networking, presentation and negotiation)

Project management skills, tools and techniques

Problem solving and decision making tools and techniques

More than 5 years of experience within manufacturing Industries.
