The role
Growing revenue and profits will be a core objective for the Head of Growth at Vortexa. The function lives at the intersection of Marketing, Commercial and Product Development and is focused on customer and user acquisition, activation, retention, and upsell. The Head of Growth will report to the CMO, build a team as we grow and work cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Product Management, Revenue Operations, Sales and Marketing to design and execute growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Head of Growth will focus on three core areas:
- Define marketing growth plan
- Coordinate and execute growth programs
- Optimise the revenue funnel
- Manage a small current team and help create a future team of growth individuals across Demand Generation, ABM, BDR’s and Marketing Operations.
- Ensure the right data infrastructure is in place for both short term and long term growth plans.
- Work with Revenue Operations to create dashboards and testing tools as services across the organisation to monitor growth and marketing funnel.
- Help quantify and understand progress against goals by selecting key performance indicators, and the development of reports on these metrics for consumption across the organisation.
- Define growth objectives looking at which layers of the funnel growth initiatives marketing should focus on and why.
- Work with campaign managers to design campaigns across the funnel to optimise lead nurturing and conversions across all stages of the funnel.
- Work with Revenue Operations team to create a framework to build and scale a global BDR team to qualify marketing inbound leads and enable a smooth transition of leads into sales across core offerings.
- Be fluent in the full spectrum of acquisition channels at Vortexa and build specific knowledge of the channels that are most effective in reaching a product’s target audience across: Owned Media, Paid and Earned Media
- Create and execute a clear plan of spend across both Paid and earned media channels tied to growth goals
Requirements

- Creativity, strategic thinking, and leadership must be in the forefront of a Head of Growth having the ability to align all market-facing functions to a shared growth objective without direct authority, and build a growth team whose culture is suited to the challenging and experimental nature of the work.
- If data is the fuel of growth, then analytics is its engine. Be conversant with data analysis and the best tools for retrieving, manipulating, and visualizing data.
- Good communication is also a must as the Head of Growth will act as a growth ambassador for the marketing team and company
- 7-10 years experience in SaaS and software companies is a must.
- Have people management skills and shown experience in scaling teams.
