Palta is a multi-product tech platform developing several mobile apps focused on health and well-being with a combined audience of more than 50 million monthly active users. Our portfolio includes such successful companies as Flo (global leader in female health), Simple (12m+ downloads, the most popular intermittent fasting app in the US), Zing (personal fitness trainer), and more. 
The rapid portfolio growth is fuelled by the recently raised $100 million in a series B round led by VNV Global.

Pora is a Beauty and Health AI assistant developed to democratize dermatology and cosmetology services. Our goal is to empower peoples' wellness and beauty with an ultimate tool for understanding and further improving their skin. We develop breakthrough AI solutions that combine deep knowledge of the user's condition with comprehensive competencies in skincare products.

We already have developed the iOS version of our app that is available in the US, Canada, and EU stores. It’s capable of:

  • Guiding the user through a dermatological questionnaire to understand their conditions and needs
  • Taking images of the user’s face and providing ML-based analysis
  • Providing meaningful recommendations of topical cosmetic products that can improve the skin conditions of the user.
  • Suggesting face exercises to maintain firmness and the youth of the skin.

What do we need

We are at our early stages now. One of the major milestones for us is to develop our paid and organic user growth strategies as well as understand what we need in the product to support sustainable growth. That’s why we are looking for the Head of Growth Marketing.

Here’s what your day-to-day responsibilities might look like:

  • Define, own, and execute a long-term user acquisition strategy
  • Drive customer growth by taking full ownership of all digital marketing channels such as paid social, paid search, affiliates, and offline marketing e.g., partnerships, PR, etc.
  • Timely discover opportunities within existing and new channels to understand profitability and scale where relevant
  • Manage, optimize, and report on marketing budgets and ROI providing business cases, implementation, and learnings
  • Work closely with our creative team to develop a state-of-art creative strategy for our ads and other marketing materials
  • Work closely with our product team to help identify, prioritize, and deliver on growth initiatives
  • Build and mentor the growth team with a high sense of ownership and a culture of getting stuff done

What we expect

  • 5+ years of user acquisition from strategy to execution in a start-up, predominantly in the mobile app space
  • 2+ years experience in managing high-performance growth teams
  • Proven track record in mobile user acquisition and marketing landscape, organic is a big bonus
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing data stack, tracking, attribution, incrementality, and BU economics is a must
  • Data-driven decision maker with significant experience running A/B tests
  • Great people management skills, ability to build processes and influence cross-functionally
  • Capable of delivering maximal impact in a short amount of time
  • Ability to think differently and see the big picture
  • Resourceful, creative, and self-motivated
  • You have a can-do-more approach, a passion for making an impact and exceeding your goals
  • English — fluent, excellent writing
  • Passion about healthcare, helping people, and launching awesome products 🙂

Our current team

The current team is pretty small: we have less than twenty team members 🙂 Most of our fellow colleagues are engineers — ML, backend, iOS, and web developers. The product team also includes several designers, product and project managers as well as UX researchers. We collaborate with many scientists to make sure our app is in line with the existing body of research.
