SantéVet Group is the market leader in pet health insurance in France and Belgium, with established operations in Germany, Spain and Italy. SantéVet Group was founded in 2003 in Lyon by Jérôme Salord, and now employs around 450 people in Lyon, Lille, Barcelona, Frankfurt and Milano.

SantéVet offers a simple but comprehensive suite of pet health insurance solutions that are renewed annually and cover illness, accidents and prevention through three complementary brands: SantéVet, Bulle Bleue and Jim & Joe.

One year ago, the company raised €150m to accelerate its growth on the European market. The company is fastening at a strong pace, developing its paw print in continental Europe.

Developing complementary services like online booking and direct payment to the vets is part of our model.


The Role

Our Company is currently recruiting for a Head of Branding and Communications to help developing our marketing and communications campaigns across Europe in order to support awareness around Santévet as the leader of pet insurance internationally.

As a member of the Operations Committee and reporting to our Chief Marketing Officer development, you will play a key role in making Santévet the European leader of pet health insurances in Europe by creating a consistent “love brand” among all touchpoints and engaging a strong pet lover community in all our countries.

You will be expected to provide brand strategy and guidelines across the organization by creating contents, ‘storytelling’ in order to take our brand to the next level.


The role is ideally based in Lyon or Paris.


As Head of Branding and Communications, your main responsibilities will include but won’t be limited to:


  • Actively participating in the organization’s strategy, communications, brand management, event planning and external communications

  • Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders in implementing the company’s marketing plan

  • Strategic planning and deployment of the brand guidelines and making sure they are executed in our markets for Santévet and the other brands of the group (Bulle Bleue, Jim & Joe, Digivet)

  • Overseeing all creative assets (developed with our internal creative studio or external agencies)

  • Creating and delivering offline assets (tv spots, radio, billboards) for our European media plans

  • Creating and delivering digital acquisition assets for our paid search, paid social, display campaigns.

  • Creating and delivering all CRM campaigns & newsletters Compile

  • Creating and delivering assets for our websites & blogs

  • Creating and delivering POSM for vet practices & fairs


Additionally, as the person in charge of our Group Brand's Image, you will:

- Define the global PR strategy for the group + its brands, manage the global PR agency and supervise the international PR agencies managed by the local marketing managers

- Set the e -reputation strategy and KPIs

- Guide our Influencers ambassador program in each market

- Guide events (ie. WoofRun in France)

- Making Santévet a global brand yet locally relevant by helping the local marketing managers

deploying the brand in their markets

In regards to Social media, you will be responsible of the social media strategy and action plans in all countries via an international Head of social in order to reboost Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and launch Pinterest, TikTok and Spotify in 2023.


As part of your role, you will be managing the following teams:

  • Creative studio: head of the creative studio and a project manager, 3 art directors, 1 video maker and 2 content creators, 2 interns

  • International: 3 local marketing managers and 3 interns, 1 international coordinator

  • Head of social
