Growth Marketing Lead - B2B Fintech

Merge is a fast-growing B2B fintech start up that is working to remove the barriers between digital asset companies and traditional payments services. We do this through a suite of APIs that automate the full cycle of money movement from payment initiation through to reconciliation via a web application or API. We are backed by top-tier venture capital firms.

In this role, you will develop, execute and measure effective content-led B2B marketing activities, define and support Merge’s event strategy and develop demand generation campaigns to, directly and indirectly, support business development.

The main activities include but are not limited to: LinkedIn and email marketing, CRM campaigns, content marketing, social media, website optimisation, copywriting, PR, and events. It’s a proactive, high-energy, fast-paced environment offering a fantastic opportunity to grow

Part time or Full time role

Responsibilities

  • Execute the demand generation and awareness marketing plans/campaigns/tactics in a variety of inbound and outbound marketing channels including content creation and distribution, digital advertising, social media marketing, email marketing, events, short form videos etc.
  • Copywriting/translating/proofreading, ensuring all content is delivered to the highest standard
  • Optimising website and web content to drive conversion through SEO, AB testing and best practices

Requirements

  • Experience working across the full B2B marketing funnel (customer acquisition, conversion and engagement) and across the marketing mix (including online and offline channels).
  • Experience within B2B SaaS or Fintech and with implementing the martech tools appropriate for an early stage B2B start up e.g. . Hubspot, Mailchimp, Zapier, Webflow or WordPress, Heap, Clearbit, Unbounce, Intercom and others
  • Hyper-organised and able to work to flexible deadlines, with inputs from multiple stakeholders, you, able to both execute independently and in collaboration with others
  • You have a creative eye, strong technical skills and have excellent project management capabilities
  • Great communication and organisational skills
  • Keen to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal English language skills (Native/Fluent)
  • Be extremely flexible in approach - we are a start-up, so we’re looking for people who can roll up their sleeves and get stuck into whatever is required at the time
