Marketing Internship (Summer 2023)
As a Marketing Intern, you'll be working across the Marketing team to help drive key GTM initiatives. You will be assigned a mentor and manager to guide and track your progress throughout the 10 week duration of the internship.
Our ideal intern(s) is someone who loves building! We're looking for interns who are passionate building products/applications from 0 to 1 and plan on joining a start-up after graduation.

Potential Internship Projects

Market Research: Conduct Market Research to understand what best in class companies are doing with regards to growth marketing and recommend suggestions and initiatives for Merge

Website Optimization: Work with the Growth Marketing, PMM, Design to develop an A/B testing program for the site to increase conversions

Social Media Campaigns: Partner with our existing growth marketers to create and execute campaigns to drive brand awareness

Lead Nurturing Program: Conduct research on our existing email journeys/nurture campaigns and other B2B companies in the space to optimize and improve our email click and open rates.

Paid Advertising Launches: Work with our design team and growth marketing team to plan and execute paid advertising campaigns across paid search and social to increase lead generation

Analytics: Work with the team to develop a dashboard or report that provides key insights into the performance of the company's growth marketing initiatives. This project will involve gathering data from a variety of sources, cleaning and preparing the data, and using analytics tools to uncover trends and patterns. The findings can be used to inform product development, marketing, and sales initiatives.
Requirements
- Must currently be a junior (Winter 2023 or Spring 2024 graduate)
- Major agnostic: Marketing/Business, Liberal Arts (e.g. English, History), or STEM all welcome.
- Solid understanding of social channels and the paid advertising landscape (CPM’s, CTR’s etc.)
- Naturally curious, with an analytical eye and a penchant for an original story angle.
- Ability to craft hypotheses, quantitatively and qualitatively analyze problems, and move quickly to action.
- Demonstrated interest in APIs and/or B2B SaaS is a plus, but not required.
- Must be able to work in the San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY office during the duration of the internship (10 weeks)
