Our R&D organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical lead that is excited about problem-solving and creating robust software solutions with a strong personal desire to succeed. Collaborate with Architects, Developers, and fellow leaders to determine the optimum user interface design, workflow, and functionality of software products.
This role is based out of Mexico and work hand on hand with US based engineering teams.
Technical skills
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Highly motivated self-starter with advanced capability to quickly learn, and work with new technologies and complex technical environments, including a variety of databases and operating systems.
- Expertise in Oracle, Grails, Java, Hibernate, JPA, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Groovy
- Proficiency with Java, J2EE, SQL
- Experienced in REST, JSON, XML, and asynchronous communication (e.g., queues, topics, streams)
- Experience with Agile software development practices such as XP, Lean Agile, Scrum, and Kanban
- Working knowledge of GIT and collaborative development practices (e.g., Pull Requests, feature branches)
- Well versed in Object Oriented Design and Principles
- Understanding of basic Linux and command line usage
- Demonstrated ability to author highly readable code
- Experienced with Integration Tests and Test-Driven Development.
