  • JOB TYPE: Freelance, Contract Position (no agencies/C2C - see notes below)
  • LOCATION: Remote - Work from anywhere
  • HOURLY RANGE: Our client is looking to pay $110 – $125/hr
  • ESTIMATED DURATION: 40h/week - Long term

THE OPPORTUNITY

Requirements

  • Experience: 3-5 years of industry experience. Ideally, in financial services, and Asset management business
  • Strong Experience in Full Stack development including Web Development
  • Strong experience in programming using Java or Python
  • Strong experience in development on any of the major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Knowledge on relational/SQL databases and some of the major NoSQL providers (MongoDb, ElasticSearch, Cassandra)
  • Knowledge of common data warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift is a plus
  • Strong academic credentials – Bachelor’s Degree is required 
  • Highly analytical mindset with complex problem solving abilities
  • Knowledge of financial industry and products
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Summary 

The technology team seeks a full-stack developer to join the team to work on all strategic software development initiatives that include data platform buildout, automation of internal processes, internal and external web portals, mobile application development, server side development, reporting platforms and more. 

Responsibilities

  • Design and build applications in AWS

  • Build multiple external facing applications for our revenue generating divisions

  • Build internal applications for portfolio analytics and monitoring

  • Contribute to the design of all strategic technology application build-outs across all divisions

  • Perform design and code/peer review for all software implementation in LS to ensure the quality of the software our client is building follows industry standards and best practices.
