We are looking for a freelance strategist to join our team to help us to help clients transform their social thinking.

The task will be to develop a full Social Media Strategy for a mayor European Public Institution. The new Social Media Strategy covers the development of a strategic approach, definition of social media goals (plus a breakdown by channel and target audiences), a proposed channel setup, the tactics proposed to achieve the goals, a content strategy, and the metrics to be used for tracking progress.
This contract will be focussing on Social Strategy in B2B context.
Timelines: From the end of March for 3 days per week for 4 weeks with potential to extend.
Role
You will be responsible for setting, maintaining and developing account strategies as well as communications strategies for our clients’ brands. This will involve developing a deep understanding of our client’s business strategy and processes, working with clients to identify what their overall strategy for communications is and where it fits into their wider organisation. You will proactively work to constantly push clients forward and delight them with new and original thinking.
You will have guardianship of the agreed strategy for the brands within your remit and ensure the work delivered for them is constantly aligned to the set vision.
Account profitability
Working alongside the account teams, you will share the responsibility for ensuring accounts are run to an efficient servicing level, budget forecasting and where appropriate, negotiation.
Business development
You will take a role in new business pitches. Working closely with Insight and Ideation heads, you will steer and craft strategy and the articulation of creative ideas.
Strategic planning process
Working closely with key heads across functions, you will champion a more rigorous approach to strategic planning.
