We are seeking temporary front of house staff to join KOOZA, a Cirque du Soleil production, in Toronto, ON. We strive to create an environment unlike any other entertainment event world-wide. YOUR MISSION
Primary Responsibilities
• Works in assigned concession area.
• Serves customers and manages cash registers.
• Prepares and serves food & beverages to customers, as required.
• Services customers and answers their questions accurately and politely.
• Ensures the concession area remains clean, stocked, and orderly.
• Facilitates closing inventory and cleaning duties.
• Keeps the working environment clean and sweep after the show begins.
• Performs other duties as required after each selling period.
The ideal candidate will:
• Possess the ability to learn a point-of-sale system and retain the information.
• Be comfortable working in a loud environment.
• Have a professional, clean appearance with a straight posture. Note: Employees are responsible for arriving in black shirts, pants and shoes (no logos).
• Be physically able to stand up for long hours.
• Understand customer service and hospitality.
• Work well with others.
• Pay attention to the details.
• Working fast and efficiently under pressure.
• Have a welcoming and friendly attitude (smile and proper greetings).
• Know when to get the help of a supervisor.
• Availability for the whole city duration.
• Responsible beverage service certification is required for employees serving alcoholic beverages, when applicable
• Food handling certification is required (asset).
• Speak English other languages are an asset.
