The purpose of this position is to work alongside a key revenue-generating business unit to aid in the continuous improvement of business operations and performance. This assistance will be provided using strong analytical skills to advise and support decision-making through strategic insights and analysis. 

This is a hybrid role with our office located in Bellevue, Washington. The pay range for the position is: $82,571 - $123,856 annual salary DOE

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and analysis of management reporting for weekly, monthly, and quarterly business unit reviews.
  • Deliver accurate, timely, and reliable revenue, gross profit, and operating expenses commits (forecasts) by ensuring all inputs are robust and reflect reasonable outcomes, along with associated sensitivity and risk analysis.
  • Support decision makers within the business unit with data and insights to make financially sound operating decisions that take full account of the risks and opportunities of decisions.
  • Be the subject matter expert for all things finance for the business unit.
  • Work closely with the VP of Finance to drive the annual planning process for the business unit, including providing support to divisional managers and heads and ensuring agreed deadlines are met.
  • Work closely with the Group Finance team to design and implement reporting that allows the business unit to deliver accurate and timely financial information as and when needed.
  • Identify and drive key reporting-related projects/process improvements. Regular reviews of current reporting and ensuring it evolves as needed.
  • Provide excellent support but challenge the business unit to ensure its strategies align with financial goals continually.
  • Provide superior customer service, including clear and frequent communication, setting and exceeding expectations, and providing an all-around fantastic value-add experience.
  • Develop and provide financial literacy training to business unit staff.
  • Ad hoc tasks as directed by the VP of Finance, CFO, or SVP & GM.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Commercial acumen and strategic thinking skills, with a high level of competence in business partnering with operational stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and distill finance concepts to non-finance people.
  • Able to work independently, organize, and prioritize competing demands.
  • Inquisitive, analytical, and able to think outside the box.
  • Passion for driving improvement in operating margins and reducing expense base.
  • Advanced MS Excel, BI, and process improvement skills.
  • Experience using large ERP Systems (Workday advantageous).
  • Experience using Planning systems (Adaptive Planning advantageous).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and ability to consistently meet deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Accountancy, Business, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working in a Global business (preferred)
