Senior Events Manager – EMEA Central
You’ll be responsible for ensuring our field marketing events across EMEA Central are handled expertly, creating and executing events that deliver real business outcomes. You’ll work with Sales, SE’s, Product Marketing, Customer Success and channel partners to build a customer-first event strategy that enhances Talend’s brand reputation and builds pipeline for Sales.
What you'll be working on
- Define for Talend events in EMEA Central (from owned events like Talend Executive Roundtables and technical webinars, to sponsored trade shows and conferences).
- Drive the regional roll out conferences
- Facilitate all strategic, logistical and operational planning and management of events
- Lead pre- and post-event meetings to communicate and align on planning elements with relevant stakeholders (Sales & Field Marketing) and debrief to incorporate learnings for future best practices
- Scale the success of events in our EMEA Central (DACH+CEE)
- Maintain calendar of planned events ensuring alignment with Sales and customer success and the global marketing teams.
- Project manage event promotion via multi-channel comms, including email marketing and social
- Track KPI across all programs and tactics including account engagement, opportunities created, pipeline and revenue
- Build trusted relationships across the EMEA Central team and the Talend Marketing team.
Experience
- Fluent in German Language is required for this role.
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail you naturally build processes and checklists and enjoy driving your projects forward
- A great collaborator. You find it easy to get buy in to your projects and unblock challenges as they arise
- Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment is extremely important, particularly an entrepreneurial attitude and the ability to thrive in an environment of change and ambiguity
- Communication skills that challenge the best communicators. You understand how to work with people, and you easily can balance diplomacy and assertion
- Advanced project management skills, and you can take any project through to completion on time and within budget
- Have worked closely with Sales to generate leads and opportunities.
