We are an innovative FMCG distribution business with logistics assets across the region. As our business scales to meet customer demand, we are looking for a candidate who is able to work with our regional and local teams on operational activities centered around data, processes and finance. The goal is to enable our business model to grow speedily and sustainably.
This is a key role that will have an impact in supporting the growth of a regional scale-up. The ideal candidate is someone who has a financial/audit/accounting/consulting background, seeking to translate those skill sets into strategically growing a business.
Responsibilities
- Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives to enhance provision of services by reviewing and revising operational processes, policies, standard operating procedures and work instructions and introduce key improvement plans for execution.
- Supporting daily business operations activities to ensure smooth execution of operations activities, relationship management with different stakeholders to ensure business continuity.
- Design and implement process improvements to optimize operational and commercial capabilities.
- Align operational processes, resources-allocation and departmental goals with overall strategy
- Assess the company's operational and strategic performance timely and identify key areas of improvements.
- Responsible for all aspects of team resourcing, managing, development and engagement of the team.
- Responsible for organizing an effective Knowledge Management database to effective search.
- Develop staff capability, knowledge, skills and understanding of the Operations support operations and business needs. Ensure all SOP are adhered to and documented in a timely and accurate manner.
- Accountable for achieving the support operations services related target Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), operational level agreements and service levels to the customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Preferable working experience in: Consulting, Audit, Financial controls, Logistics, FMCG supply chain, Operations. Fresh graduate are welcome to apply.
- Able to work in fast paced environment, solving problems within timelines.
- Need to analyse business operations and lead on improvement and growth.
- Need to manage stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
- Able to change processes to fit new business needs.
