We’re looking for an Event Marketer who will report to our VP, Revenue Marketing to help build the foundation for revenue growth through strategic events and partnerships.   As our team grows in 2023, you would be responsible for creating and executing a multi-vertical event strategy while partnering with marketing, sales, product, and operations teams. You would be responsible for but not limited to 3rd party tradeshow and conference selection, booth creative and design, budget management, attendance, speaking opportunities, lead handling and more.

Here's what you'll do:   

  • Develop robust event and partner marketing campaign/program strategy and lead the execution from start to finish. Including planning, producing, and executing events that are virtual and/or in-person.
  • Collaborate with growth marketing and sales teams on programs that drive pre-show interest, attendance, and post-show conversion activity and engagement.
  • Train and enable GTM teams on content, processes, and workflows surrounding events and partner programs.
  • Possess advanced understanding of product and platform positioning knowledge in order to write and edit content for event marketing programs that aligns to overall messaging frameworks.
  • Possess advanced understanding of Hotel Engine’s addressable market and GTM strategy in order to effectively build programs for and communicate with our accounts and buyers.
  • Partner with marketing operations and analytics teams to measure event and program performance including the direct or influenced impact on bookings and revenue.
  • Collaborate, build relationships, problem solve and drive results across teams (including remote colleagues) and at all levels of an organization.

Here's what we're looking for:   

  • 5-7+ years' experience in a similar role in a high-growth company
  • Ability to work independently and be proactive in identifying opportunities and recommending solutions 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, HubSpot and 3rd party event solutions Cvent, Bizzabo, Goldcast, etc.
  • Stong ability to communicate efficiently with internal stakeholders via email, slack and presenting in team meetings
  • Strong ability to communicate with external event partners and agencies Excellent client management skills and strong written and verbal communication.
  • Proven project management, organization, and communication skills with the ability to support productive matrixed teams and working relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Ability to drive multiple initiatives at one time, adapt to evolving priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills. You have a track record of effectively working with a variety of key players across the organization, such as the executive team, sales, and product
  • Self-starter and comfortable with extreme ambiguity

Cash Compensation

  • The total cash compensation range for this role starts at $115,000/year with an annual bonus target of up to 15%, plus an attractive stock option package. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, and may vary from the amount above.

This role is eligible for remote work within the U.S.
