Roles and Responsibilities:

Job Summary/Overview:

Be a part of a team that has the responsibility over the installation of highly complicated equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Support assigned start-up of new or relocated equipment, as well as upgrade/retrofit existing tools.
Drive the installation and qualification of new tools including facilities design and install, vendor startup, to equipment acceptance for production and volume ramp.
Supports and performs pre-installation activities with trades and OEM.
Maintains records and reports as required.
Coordinates activities with Trades, peers, supervisor(s) and end customers to ensure smooth installations of multiple tool sets throughout each day.

Education, Training, Certification(s), and Minimum Years of experience required:

Associate's degree in engineering or related field and 2+ years of Technician level experience in any industry (electronic, mechanical, chemical, gas, refrigeration, automotive, aerospace or basic vacuum), OR High School Diploma/GED and 4+ Years of Military experience in a relevant Military Occupational Specialty (MOS), OR High School Diploma/GED and 2+ years of Technician Level experience working in a Semiconductor environment.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software and Tools:

Highly capable in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
Ability to read engineering drawings and electrical diagrams.
Competent in the use of test equipment including various test meters, hand tools, and power tools.
Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to procedural changes also required.
Ability to demonstrate electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to demonstrate excellent critical thinking, planning skills and execution of multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
May be required to work in confined or awkward spaces for extended periods of time.
Will be required to complete training to work at height using approved fall protection equipment.
Experience installing semiconductor equipment in a wafer fab environment preferred.
Familiarity with 300MM equipment in at least one module is preferred, but not required.
Experience working with facilities, OEMs and sustaining engineering teams to install equipment at an accelerated rate preferred.
Ability to implement and operate in a highly structured approach.
Must be an excellent communicator and be able to communicate/present plans and results.
Ability to go broad across multiple toolsets and processes yet have the ability to dig in deep on specific topics.

Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (May require weekend/hour flexibility).
