As a Enterprise Reporting DBA (Hybrid), you are responsible for architecting, designing, developing and implementing complex database systems, tools and applications specifically for reporting environments. The position is heavily focused on data conversion, data modeling, and data integration supporting back-end processes. The position also reviews, analyzes and documents data and workflow processes.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain business processes and database applications for reporting environments
- Design, develop and maintain data warehouse(s) and dimensional data marts represented in a star schema
- Create software for data language (e.g., T-SQL), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Azure Data Factory for data integration, data maintenance, or bug fixes
- Write and maintain functional and technical specifications
- Develop proactive working relationships with employees both inside and outside the team
- Communicate project status and escalate issues to management, provide recommendations and solutions to correct issues
- Stay abreast of industry trends to ensure the Company’s technology standards remain current
- Analyze, define and document system requirements
- Create and execute implementation plans
- Perform special projects as assigned by management
- Provide technical support in maintaining database applications
- Provide support for off hour deployments and production issues
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Take in requirements and propose a data model to store the data best served for reporting
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field strongly preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of experience developing relational database applications with SQL Server 2016 or higher
- A minimum of 5 years of experience creating scripts in a development environment, testing scripts in a quality assurance environment
- Experience with Azure Managed Instance, Azure DB and Microsoft .NET coding experience is a plus
- Experience with administering and developing solutions for SQL Server Reporting Services and/or Power BI (paginated reports experience a plus)
- Hands on experience and advanced understanding of SSIS packages and other ETL processes for data migration
- Strong understanding of relational databases, T-SQL, SSIS
- Strong working knowledge in data modeling and query optimization for reporting environments
- Familiarity/Knowledge of data warehouse modeling/concepts and Azure Data Factory (Azure Data Factory experience is a plus)
- Experience with data modeling for storage and reporting
- Ability to develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures, functions, and complex SQL
- Ability to develop systematic testing plans for problem resolution
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Highly proficient in performance tuning especially tuning complex queries and stored procedures
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meets deadlines and to work independently or as part of a team

The salary range for this position is $130,000 -$150,000.
Final salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
