Greenlight is looking for an Engineering Manager, DBA to lead our Database Administration Team through a period of rapid growth. You will have primary ownership of the operational runtime databases that directly support Greenlight’s core product. This role reports to a Senior Manager.

What you will be doing:
- Create a safe environment for the Database Administration team
- Provide strategic direction and collaboration to encourage and motivate team members to try new ways to solve technical challenges
- Reconcile, resolve, track technical code adjustments, defects, testing, clean ups, and production support maintenance activities
- Manage the team’s backlog and the agile development process
- Manage the team’s roadmap and engage with business stakeholders
- Develop and maintain data pipeline production support
- Provide direction to technical vendor teams
- Track and report team success metrics

- Experience leading database administration/engineering teams within the context of data warehouse design and implementation, data management activities, or database administration
- Experience as a DBA supporting highly transactional and highly available datastores.
- In depth knowledge and hands-on experience with multiple database engines, specifically AWS RDS, Aurora MySQL or MySQL.
- Experience with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB, MongoDB etc is a big plus.
- Experience with data integration tools like fivetran is preferred
- Experience with software development frameworks and methodologies is a plus.
