About The Role:
We’re looking for a kick ass Email Marketing Specialist to join our fast growing marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing and managing automated marketing campaigns (across email, text and other channels) that maximize customer engagement with the brand. You will own some of our most important customer touch points -- for example,  the welcome series that onboards new customers, abandoned campaigns that convert active shoppers, and winback campaigns that re-engage lapsed customers. 

This role requires a unique combination of analytical, marketing and creative chops. To be successful, you’ll need to have a passion for the brand, and a natural ability to put yourself in the customer shoes. You will also need to have an appetite to experiment, measure and iterate to continuously improve campaigns and drive better results. This will also require great cross-functional teamwork, collaborating with our merchandising, creative and development teams to build and execute new customer touchpoints for each channel.

Responsibilities

  • Own the development and execution of email/sms marketing programs across the customer lifecycle, with a focus on driving user engagement, activation and lifetime value
  • Manage our marketing automation tools and ‘campaign roadmap’ -- the set of actions and workflows which define what email/sms campaigns are sent to which customers (and when)
  • Concept and launch new marketing campaigns, working with our design, merchandising and marketing teams to develop content that resonates with customers at each stage of their lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain a testing agenda for A/B tests that can drive continuous improvement across email/sms  KPIs ie. open rates, click-to-open rates, conversion rates, and revenue
  • Manage reporting requests and ongoing analyses for campaign performance, key insights, and strategic learnings
  • Maintain the quality of our email/sms subscriber lists, by following list health and deliverability best practices
  • Own audience segmentation and deployment of our blast editorial email campaigns

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive understanding of brand and what speaks to the Dolls Kill customer
  • Strong ownership, execution, and follow up skills, with a bias to action
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Proven ability to collect and analyze data
  • Experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or email marketing is a plus
  • HTML or CSS skills is a plus
