ABOUT THE ROLE
Teikametrics is seeking a hands-on Email Marketing Manager to own our email strategy end to end. In this vital Marketing role, the right candidate will collaborate with Marketing colleagues to write, build and send email and in-app communications to prospects and customers. This role presents an opportunity to represent email as a revenue-producing channel for the company, executing its initiatives and owning its contribution to pipeline generation.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME
- Own end to end email marketing, including strategy, copywriting, list & workflow creation, and analytical reporting
- Develop a decision framework and calendar for how emails are prioritized on the marketing calendar
- Execute and improve comprehensive lifecycle email campaigns across multiple stages of the customer journey
- Monitor and improve deliverability, open and click-through rates
- Adhere to best practices in email communications as they relate to data privacy
- Execute email build and sends, discovering opportunities to rinse and repeat, then automating nurtures to establish set goals
- Work with colleagues to ensure that emails express consistency of brand and tone of voice
- Troubleshoot unexpected dips in email performance indicators, testing hypotheses for the why behind the metrics and taking actions to solve
- Own cold email sends, including list purchases
- Partner with Marketing, Operations, Product and Services Teams to build a cohesive email ecosystem
WHO YOU ARE
- 5+ years experience in Lifecycle and Email Marketing, with increasing responsibility, complexity, and scale of work
- Extremely strong writing skills, able to quickly write compelling copy across different email stages
- Ability to build emails, in-app notifications and their corresponding workflows, as well as report out on their performance
- Track record of scaling successful email marketing programs in Hubspot or similar tools, with the numbers to prove it
- Passion for all things data, and for building out scalable processes and iterating quickly
- Ability to balance strategic planning with execution; exhibiting a desire to engage in hands-on work
- Ability to analyze, set priorities, and solve complex problems effectively and consistently
- Ability to communicate the right level of information to executives and cross-functional teams at the right cadence
- Excellent interpersonal skills as evidenced in having driven cross-functional projects end-to-end
