What You’ll Do!

ItsaCheckmate is searching for a passionate and experienced email marketing manager and Mailchimp expert who can take the lead and work with us on an exciting new email marketing program/service. This program works directly with our restaurant customers and helps them build amazing marketing programs to communicate menus, promotions, offerings, and updates to their customers.

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will be responsible for the overall success of this email program, that is focused on helping our customers build tailored marketing solutions using all aspects of the Mailchimp platform. Through it, and in conjunction with other ItsaCheckmate products, you will help our customers map out their unique customer journeys, audience segmentations, marketing automation, campaign templates, email assets, and more!

As an email marketing professional and Mailchimp expert, you will use your data/metrics expertise and advise our customers on how to develop best practices for email list growth, segmentation, and hygiene, as well as analyze and recommend solutions to increase domain reputation for inboxing. Creating reports demonstrating such campaigns' output will be a critical aspect of this role.

Responsibilities:

• Acts as a subject matter expert on the Mailchimp platform and email best practices.
• Works with our customers to help them optimize their use of Mailchimp, in conjunction with ItsaCheckmate solutions, to effectively market to their customers.
• Helps our customers devise strategies to increase engagement through email design, content optimization, and conversion optimization.
• Supports our customers in conducting A/B tests in subject lines and creative and copy tests to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversion.
• Collaborates to develop and analyze weekly and monthly reports for email KPI results, including but not limited to list health and delivery rates, open rates, click-through rates, and order conversion.
• Effectively maintains calendars and project plans to track both production schedules and deliverables.
• Partners with in-house and customer creative teams to support all aspects of the email development process (eg, briefing the design and copy team, creative review, approval process, scheduling, and deployment). Provides insights and industry best practices to improve program performance and develop a best-in-class program that delivers results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience
• Outstanding knowledge of Mailchimp and other email/marketing platforms
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with a proven ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and deadlines
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
