E-Commerce National Account Manager

The Role:

We’re looking for an ambitious National Account Manager with e-Commerce experience to join our fabulous Commercial team. You’ll be responsible for establishing, building, and nurturing strategic partnerships with our amazing retail partners as well as identifying new commercial opportunities and negotiating best in class reciprocal support to effortlessly bring the Tilbury magic to life online.

You’ll have a commercial mindset with a natural ability to reach creative results and achieve ambitious growth targets. You will be highly numerate, target-driven, commercially savvy, and passionate about working in the beauty industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Trading Relationships

  • Establish and maintain amazing relationships at all levels within your designated accounts, to ensure that the Charlotte Tilbury brand is positioned to deliver more than its due share of voice, visibility and exposure.
  • Conduct successful commercial negotiations including terms, pricing, support with Buying and Merchandising teams, etc.

Driving Performance

  • Ensure a top-line and detailed understanding of retail context, category and individual retailer performance to identify opportunities and strategic needs.
  • Manage category basics (assortment, content, etc.) and use your expertise in the digital commerce field to forge new ways of working and elevate our presence in both Bricks & Clicks and PurePlay retailers.
  • Own all net sales forecasting for defined retailers, meeting all financial deadlines and budget submissions, flagging risks and opportunities in a timely and quantified manner.
  • Deliver limitless plans to maintain and drive #1 ranking across the estate.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting for NPD and core lines, and proactive inventory and assortment management, with close collaboration with Supply Chain and Demand Planning.
  • Retain agility to react to retail trends and maximise opportunities across retailers.

Cross-Functional Working

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to create and deliver an annual plan for each retailer covering: activation of key launches and marketing moments, eventing, retailer animation, considering both customer acquisition and retention. Review implementation and performance vs expectations on a regular and appropriately frequent basis.
  • For new markets or trading partners, onboard and build out bespoke launch plans appropriate to the market and retailer to reach and sustain #1 ranking.

Team Management

  • Support the development and performance of National Account Executive and wider team, building functional expertise and driving relationship management with the trade
  • Support National Account Executives to lead relationships with defined accounts, supporting key decision making and strategy, but giving autonomy and accountability

Requirements

We Are looking For:

  • Extensive and proven experience as an e-Commerce Senior National Account Manager / National Account Manager and ideally within beauty/luxury/fashion industry although we are open to other industries.
  • You will be highly numerate, target-driven, commercially savvy, keen to find creative solutions to challenges and passionate about working in the beauty industry.
  • You will be results oriented & proactively solution driven.
  • Structured and organised but comfortable working with ambiguity, in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment (we are still a new business despite what you might think!).
  • You will be able to instantly provide a macro level view and understanding, be able to form a strategy and be able to quantify the business impact.
  • Appetite for Learning and development - recognise the pace of change we are undergoing. Be a role model across all teams.
  • Proven experience in managing and coaching.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with an eye for detail and rigour.
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in negotiating.
  • Have excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • You’ll be a starter and go-getter with an entrepreneurial can-do spirit!
