BillionToOne's first product, UNITY™ is the first and only prenatal screen that directly assesses the baby's risk for common and severe inherited disorders such as cystic fibrosis, spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), and hemoglobinopathies from a single tube of blood from the pregnant mother.

BillionToOne is looking for a Director of Growth Marketing to lead the company’s growth marketing initiatives. Every year, millions of pregnant women get prenatal genetic testing in the US alone. UNITY is uniquely differentiated in the space with its unique disease coverage, and we have been growing at ~3x YoY. As we have established a strong product-market-fit through a field sales team, we are ready to further our growth through a wider range of growth engines. 

That’s where you come in. As the first growth marketer in the company, you are responsible for building and optimizing our growth playbooks for patients and providers leads, and over time driving transformational growth in the adoption of products. If you are an experienced growth marketer who is highly analytical and data-driven, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is fascinated by the potential of genetic testing, this is the perfect opportunity for you. This role reports directly to Chief Product Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead BillionToOne’s growth marketing initiatives from strategy to execution to drive transformational growth in the adoption of our genetic test offerings
  • Define growth metrics and constantly improve metrics through rapid hypotheses testing, constant analysis, and campaign refinement
  • Launch and refine new customer acquisition channels by working closely with the product, engineering, and brand marketing teams
  • Lead the implementation of the marketing analytics tools and infrastructure to enable effective growth marketing initiatives and tracking
  • Over time, build a world-class growth marketing team that will become an essential pillar of our company’s growth engine

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in growth or digital marketing in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Proven track record of driving measurable growth 
  • Deep experience in all customer acquisition and retention channels
  • A hacker’s mentality. You are obsessed with finding new ways to drive growth. You are driven by first principles, not conventional wisdom. You love solving ambiguous problems through rapid hypothesis testing. 
  • Highly analytical and data-driven. Has in-depth experience with up-to-date marketing analytics and tracking tools and can implement them first-hand
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to take a complex genetic test and tell a compelling story that resonates well with different audiences
  • Outstanding cross-functional leadership skills 
  • Experience with biotech, health-tech, or genetic testing field is a plus
  • Experience building a world-class growth marketing team is a plus

At BillionToOne, we are proud to offer a combination of a (1) base pay range (actual amount offered is based experience and salary/equity options split that the candidate chooses) (2) generous equity options offering, on top of (3) industry leading company benefits (free healthcare options, 401k match, very generous fully paid parental leave etc.).

For this position, we offer a total compensation package range of $300,000-$350,000, including a base pay range of $175,000-$200,000 per year.
