Position Overview 

Diligent’s Director of Demand Generation is responsible for planning, developing and executing Americas marketing strategies across Diligent’s full product offering. They have a high-technical aptitude, an understanding of demand marketing and can deliver performance reporting and manage multiple stakeholders throughout the organization. 

They will ensure we are generating enough pipeline and opportunities from our marketing channels to enable us to hit the revenue numbers in the region, through working with the full marketing organization and the digital marketing team and channel owners.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop AMERs demand gen strategies that are aligned with the regional KPIs. 
  • Work with the highly talented marketing team to execute and track the demand gen campaigns and associated landing pages 
  • Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content  
  • Ensure the campaigns are being constantly optimised and AB tested to achieve incremental uplift 
  • Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing automation system (i.e., Marketo) to better nurture leads, increase conversion rates to marketing qualified leads and improve the integrity of the overall database 
  • Establish closed-loop analytics with sales to understand how our marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers 
  • Establish, maintain and optimize scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management, e.g., analyzing landing page and email best practices 
  • Work with Field marketing team to promote and leverage events, webinars, etc. 
  • Work closely with the ABM team and the local sales/CS team to develop and execute ABM campaigns 
  • SEO: Accountable for search engine optimisation performance. In partnership with the marketing team, ensure we adhere to best practices from an on-page, off-page and technical SEO point of view 
  • Coordinate and track SEO and SEM campaigns, developing content and campaigns based on keyword research 
  • Analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization to meet revenue targets 
  • Track campaign ROI and influence the allocation of marketing spend based on past performance 
  • Coordinating marketing integration actions for mergers and acquisitions 

Required Experience/Skills: 

  • 7-10 years of experience working in a digital marketing role 
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com reporting
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics/GA360 and experience running detailed campaign reporting
  • Knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices
  • Experience working within a SaaS company a plus
  • Experience of Marketing Automation (Preferably Marketo)
  • Experience of Google Ads
  • A team player who loves to collaborate with cross-functional and regional teams
