We're seeking a highly-motivated, experienced and proven marketing leader to own CompStak's Growth and Lead Generation Marketing efforts. As Director of Demand Generation, you will be responsible for the strategy and execution of marketing programs that capture and nurture marketing leads across multiple channels.
You will own all aspects of demand generation marketing, including the programs, campaigns, and tactics that drive our team's revenue and new user goals.
This role reports to the VP of Marketing, and will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams. The ideal candidate is data driven, strategic, and willing to roll-up their sleeves to get things done, with a strong track record of driving leads and revenue for SaaS companies.
We have a hybrid work environment where we go into the office 3 days a week and work remotely 2 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Lead the demand generation function and strategy to drive predictable, scalable, and repeatable lead pipeline and revenue
- Execute and manage all B2B lead generation campaigns to drive the growth of our Exchange and Enterprise product
- Own our lead nurturing programs and optimize them to increase lead generation and improve lead quality
- Propose, execute, and optimize multi-channel acquisition programs that integrate digital and traditional channels, including email, SEM/PPC, content, direct mail, paid advertising, etc.
- Manage list segmentation and scoring to deliver more targeted and relevant messaging to improve engagement and ultimately conversion of prospects
- Develop content distribution plans across marketing channels that lead to opportunity creation (social networks, paid ads, content syndication, blog, display, web, email, etc)
- Work with the Design Team to develop marketing assets, including email, advertisements, landing pages, direct mail pieces, collateral, infographics, etc.
- Create and execute go-to-market plans for new products and features that open and accelerate opportunities
- Improve operational processes and reporting related to demand generation programs to measure effectiveness, performance and ROI of marketing spend
- Evaluate, select and manage outside vendors that contribute to the demand creation programs (paid ads agency, etc)
- Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing automation system (i.e., Marketo) to better nurture leads, increase conversion rates to marketing qualified leads and improve the integrity of the overall database
- Develop integrated paid and organic programs that significantly increase the marketing database and overall pipeline
- Analyze campaign outcomes in detail, drawing insights and presenting results clearly to facilitate sound decision making and next steps
- Manage and grow a strong demand gen team that will work together to achieve results
- Maintain a feedback loop between sales & marketing to optimize lead generation campaigns and identify opportunities for pipeline acceleration and sales conversions
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on campaign design and demand generation at a SaaS, technology, or commercial real estate firm
- Track record of creating high-quality opportunities through the successful planning and managing of demand generation programs
- Expertise in multi-stage demand gen funnels and related technologies including marketing automation (Hubspot) and CRM (Salesforce)
- Extensive knowledge of success metrics, behavioral and demographic targeting, and ROI-driven marketing optimization techniques
- Ability to prioritize and manage various projects based on current business requirements and landscape
- The ability to think strategically, analytically and creatively to break down problems and find effective solutions
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Great managerial skills and knows how to work well with other teams
- BA/BS degree in business, marketing, commercial real estate, or related field
The base pay ranges provided below are for NYC Metro-based hires only and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations other than the NYC Metro area may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
Pay range: $100,000 - $150,000
