Nest was co-founded by Dr. Rebekah Gee, the former Secretary of Health for the State of Louisiana and the former CMO for Medicaid and the Title V program; and Rebecca Kavoussi, former Western US President at Landmark Health and former head of global clinical operations at Babylon Health. Role Summary
The Director of Communications & Marketing is a strong communicator with a demonstrated track record of providing strategic communications recommendations and execution for a wide range of audiences including but not limited to patients, families, community partners, and executives. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven, analytical self-starter who is equally comfortable developing marketing collateral as they are creating engagement materials for prospective patients.  The Director will be responsible for planning, development and implementation of a coordinated communications strategy that aligns with Nest’s business goals and objectives, including brand-building, member-facing communications, corporate communications, and collaboration with payer partners on key deliverables.  You will play a key role in building Nest’s brand to build awareness, drive growth, and attract talent. The position is a great opportunity for someone to be involved in all aspects of communications and marketing for a health care organization.

What You’ll Do
Create and execute strategic communications and media (traditional and non-traditional) campaigns to increase brand awareness in new markets and promote the company's services to potential patient families, including closed-cohort campaigns,  co-branding with payer partners, and social media.
Develop brand standards, templates, messaging, and customer journey mapping to drive engagement and retention of eligible patients and families.
Develop and execute SEO/SEM and social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive web/social traffic from target patient populations.
Manage the Nest’s website and digital presence and content, including web and mobile strategy, and directing the work of graphic designers and website consultants.
Collaborate with Nest’s talent acquisition team to position Nest as an employer of choice and increase interest in open positions.
Use Salesforce and other tools to maintain an editorial calendar for the organization, track and analyze the effectiveness of social media, marketing and outreach campaigns and adjust as necessary.
Develop and maintain relationships with key internal (Product, Clinical, Outreach) and external (payers, vendors) stakeholders.
Assist Nest leadership in developing internal brand and employee communication and recommended cadence and medium
Create structure for a scalable communications and marketing department to support intense market growth throughout the U.S.
Collaborate with the Nest outreach, product, and clinical operations teams on shared goals and gather intelligence for continual improvement in messaging, tools and targeting.
 
Experience, Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field required
Minimum of 7 years of experience in a communications, public relations, marketing and role with increasing levels of responsibility and demonstrated ability to manage competing demands
Strong understanding of healthcare industry trends and regulations required; Experience working in a health care delivery system or at-risk-provider group preferred.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communication and marketing strategies.
Proficient in Salesforce, marketing automation software, Google analytics, social media, email marketing and graphic design software
Strong understanding of social media landscape and current on evolving trends
Experience working with SEO/SEM and website management
Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, leadership, and project management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
People management experience is preferred but not required
