About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Director of Brand and Content Marketing to lead our brand and content efforts. The ideal candidate should come from a high-growth B2B/SaaS background with experience building awareness and evolving brands through engaging content and storytelling. The Director will lead the development of a comprehensive and cohesive brand and content strategy, creating a strong and recognizable brand presence across all channels. This person is not someone who likes to do things “by the book” or just focus on strategy. We are looking for someone to push the limits of our brand and content and take these efforts to the next level. They must be a strong strategic leader, but also comfortable rolling up their sleeves to do the work with the team.
This role will report directly to the Head of Marketing and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ultimately drive pipeline and revenue for the business.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee brand strategy and execution to build awareness and constantly evolve the brand
- Develop and execute a content strategy across all channels and mediums that engages our audience throughout the funnel leading to business results
- Lead SEO efforts that drive measurable organic traffic growth
- Oversee social media and Slack community management efforts, including content creation, engagement, and growth
- Evolve brand messaging and tone of voice to ensure our brand and content break through the noise
- Oversee brand and association sponsorships and influencer marketing
- Collaborate with the marketing team and produce content for events and webinars
- Work closely with the growth marketing team to deliver campaigns that drive leads, pipeline, and revenue; support CRO efforts
- Collaborate with partnerships team on partner marketing/co-marketing efforts
- Assist with public relations and communications efforts
- Report on the success of brand and content initiatives and analyze performance to inform future marketing initiatives
- Keep up with industry and customer trends, integrate new ideas and best practices into our content strategy, and eagerly adopt novel channels and approaches for content creation and distribution.
- Manage a team of internal and external content creators
What You’ll Need:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in content marketing with at least 4 years in a brand/content leadership role at a high-growth B2B/SaaS company
- Demonstrated experience in brand strategy, messaging, and tone of voice development and evolution
- Proven expertise developing content for different mediums (ads, landing pages, website copy, long-form content, video, email, and more) to achieve the desired business result
- An expert in SEO, content creation, and distribution across all channels
- Hands-on experience growing a presence on social media and building/managing an online community
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders
- Able to quickly understand new industries, products, and ICPs to guide content
- Experience managing a team of internal or external content creators
- Familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Monday, etc), Google Analytics, Google suite, SEO tools (SEM Rush, Ahrefs), and WordPress
Compensation
The salary range for this role $150,000 - $175,000
