This is a hands on Marketing Director to manage vertical marketing strategies, GTM planning and content development for 3 specific market segments: Telecom Operators, Enterprise, Federal Markets. As a critical member of the team, you will develop compelling messaging, content, and programs for these segments and assist with engaging press and analyst communities, positioning JMA Wireless as a leading provider of networking infrastructure and industry solutions for in-building and outdoor wireless coverage.   

Position Responsibilities:

  • Define, develop and deliver the Vertical Segment Content Strategy, including messaging and value proposition while providing oversight for the creation of market segment customized versions of JMA solutions and value propositions.
  • Develop a GTM strategy with product management for product launches; develop creative content, sales enablement tools and communications, outbound marketing collateral and campaigns while contributing to the industry editorial calendar, working across corporate and segment marketing.
  • Contribute content for the website and own regular content updates. Track website traffic and provide regular reporting using traffic activity to inform web and other content.
  • Write and edit content for: internal and external blogs, white papers, organic social media, email nurture campaigns, thought leadership content, third party article features, e-books, presentations, videos, and keynotes.
  • Align closely with sales and the solutions architecture team to leverage data and insights from customers and partners to inform messaging and campaign strategy.
  • Develop unique, engaging, solution-oriented content and campaigns that will transform our go-to-market approach, while maintaining brand and product standards, voice, and style.
  • Work through processes to gain approval from stakeholders, and legal, while helping the team to move quickly and complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Develop a system to archive content, making it searchable for our worldwide community of marketers and sellers.
  • Deliver meaningful integrated marketing campaigns that deliver ROI to the sales team and fill the funnel with new opportunities across the 3 segments.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Technical degree or MBA strongly preferred
  • 8-10+ years of experience in industry marketing and B2B GTM planning, thought leadership and content delivery.
  • The ideal candidate has a passion for technology and how it can be used to create business outcomes for large Telecom Operators, Enterprises and the Federal markets with an innate ability to transform complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand messaging and materials, and the ability to build and improve scalable mechanisms for managing our work.
  • Experience in marketing HW/SW industry solutions from a B2B perspective to vertical enterprise markets.
  • Experience and knowledge in the area of 5G/Edge, Networking, IoT and networking infrastructure to drive/execute campaigns and communications to industry verticals is a must.
  • Understanding of JMA Wireless technology and solutions as the leading provider of network infrastructure for in building network coverage (Distributed Antenna Systems- DAS) and Private Wireless Networks is a plus. 
  • Familiarity with Higher Education, Hospitality, Sports and Entertainment and Federal Markets a plus.
  • Experience in contributing to large scale strategic events (Mobile World Congress (MWC), Computer Electronics Show (CES) or similar with thought leadership, keynote development and promotional strategies.
  • Experience working closely with sales teams to set goals and deliver campaigns that support strategic account plans and growth verticals.
  • 30% travel required domestic and international.
